Steve Macpherson operates https://www.derpymud.com (the "Site"). This page informs you of policies regarding the
collection, use and disclosure of personal information recieved from users of the Site.
Personal Information
Your personal information is used only as required to provide the Site. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use
of information in accordance with this policy.
What is Collected
While using the Site, you may be asked to provide certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or
identify you. Personally identifiable information includes, but is not limited to your username, name and e-mail address.
Facebook: When you access DerpyMUD through Facebook, your basic account information (user ID, name, email, gender,
birthday, current city, profile picture URL, and the user IDs of the user's friends who have also connected with DerpyMUD) may
be transmitted. This information is never stored on any DerpyMUD servers.
Log Data: Like many sites, information is collected that your browser sends whenever you visit the Site ("Log Data"). This
Log Data is limited to your computer's Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, Operating System (OS), the
pages of the Site that you visit, and the time and date of those visits.
Additionally, when connected to the MUD server, be it through a web browser, client program, telnet, or other means, the time and
IP address of the MUD login is included in Log Data, and any data that you transmit may be also included in the Log Data.
Cookies
The Site uses cookies in order to improve your browsing experience. Cookies are required to use the web client, however you
may choose to instruct your broswer to refuse to send cookies.
Security
The security of your Personal Information is important, but remember that no method of communication over the Internet, or
method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While all reasonable means are used to protect your Personal Information, no
guarantees are made as to its absolute security.
Children
DerpyMUD does not directly target children under 13. According to Facebook Terms of Use, children under the age of 13 are not
allowed to access Facebook. We do not collect information about children under 13. In the event that such information was
collected, we will delete this information as possible.
Deletion of Data
All of your Personal Information and Log Data, or a subset thereof can be deleted on request by contacting the site
administrator.
